Core Innovation Hot 30 Awards - Real Time Instruments

16/09/2025

Real Time Instruments (RTI) has been recognised in the 2025 Core Innovation Hot 30 Awards for our role in advancing material intelligence and real-time analysis across the mining industry.

The award highlights the impact of our technologies in helping mine operators monitor and optimise material streams with greater accuracy and speed.

Founded in Mackay, Queensland, RTI has grown into a global supplier of online elemental and moisture analysis systems. Our cross-belt PGNAA analysers and MoistScan moisture analysers are installed at sites across Australia, North and South America, and Asia, giving operators the data they need to improve ore grade control, reduce penalties, and support environmental compliance.

“Being named in the Core Innovation Hot 30 validates our approach to innovation and the partnerships we’ve built across the mining sector,” said Aston Bell, CEO of Real Time Instruments. “Our mission is to provide real-time material intelligence that enables operators to make faster, smarter decisions.”

The Core Innovation Hot 30, run by Core Innovation Hub, recognises companies developing technology for the resources, energy, and mining sectors. This year’s cohort spans solutions in digital transformation, decarbonisation, and operational efficiency.

Our inclusion reflects the growing demand for real-time data in bulk materials handling. Beyond grade control, RTI analysers are widely used in applications such as stockpile management, sampling delay elimination, and sustainable mining practices.

As a Material Intelligence Partner, we work alongside mining operations from pit to port, enabling measurable improvements in profitability, compliance, and sustainability.
