Bauxite Ore using Realtime Instruments Products

Four samples of XXXX Bauxite ore (labelled Hu1 thru Hu4) were tested at each of 4 different conveyor loadings (10,30,70,100 kg per metre) in the RTI AllScan Falcon 4X PGNAA test rig at Mackay, with the purpose of determining how quickly PGNAA technology could determine elemental composition of important elemental components of the Bauxite ore (typically Al,Si,Fe,Ti.S). This test rig has been designed for rapid sorting of material on a conveyor belt.
